Dot NET Domain Name Registrations

When the Dot NET universal top-level domain was first set up in 1985, along with the first domains on the World Wide Web, it was supposed to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure establishments. Taking into consideration that there were no particular restrictions about the usage of the top-level domain, though, dot NET domains were reserved and used for different purposes and by a huge number of people. This extension represents an ideal substitute of dot COM, especially if the necessary domain with the latter TLD is not free for registration.

Reserving a .NET domain with our company is effortless and takes only a couple of minutes, given the fact that we are partners with an ICANN-certified registrar company. You can register such a domain for a period between one and ten years, or, if you already own a domain, you can move it over to our firm and we will renew it once the transfer process is finished. Transfers are available for all domain names, which are at least 60 days old, provided that they are not locked and that you have obtained an EPP transfer authorization code – security measures introduced by the Registry organization to prevent unauthorized transfers. You can easily update the WHOIS info of the domain through your Control Panel interface, or, if you don’t want this info to be public at all, you can add a Whois Privacy Protection service, so no one will be able to get your actual contact information.

The dot NET top-level domain extension supports internationalized names, so you can take a decision if you want to aim at a specific country or territory using a domain name in the regional language, or the global Internet community – using a generic English name.

It features a complete range of domain settings, which means that you will have complete control over your domain name's WHOIS and DNS settings. Furthermore, it enables you to control many domain names from the same location easily - you are not limited to one domain name per Control Panel.

And, for those who have a hosting account here, you are able to perform both site administration along with domain name administration tasks. You don't have to log into other Control Panels or change interfaces.
